Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Institute, which is in organizational law of University of Mersin, founded on July 3rd, 1992 by Law No. 2547, began graduate education in academic year of 1993-1994. The Institute has master’s degree education in 15 programs (Biology, Environmental Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Physics, Food Engineering, Geological Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Education, Mathematics, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Aquaculture, Urban and Regional Planning) and doctorate education in 9 programs (Biology, Environmental Engineering, Physics, Food Engineering, Geological Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Aquaculture). 67 research assistants work connected to the Institute and 5 administrative staffs work for the Institute.
